OK read. Annoyed that cliffhanger. Think other reviews written by friends. Characters superficial and didn't particularly draw me in and much of the storyline a bit boring - same old thing. Group of friends all end up hanging out at heroine's house constantly.Product details

The unique circumstances that Wren was involved in this story made you want to cry and curl up in a ball. I wanted to cry with Wren when the story unfolds of her tragic past and how it seems like she can't win. Its not your classic romance thats for sure next book i am going to have a botttle of gentlemen jack in case i need a shot.
A very intense, heart breaking story. I found myself not able to put it down. I am looking forward to reading what happens next with the characters and where they go from here.
I really enjoyed this story. I couldn't help but feel for the main character and what she had to endure. I thought the author did a great job of conveying the emotions of the characters. There is a cliffhanger, boy, dd It leave me hanging. I look forward to reading what happens next.
So many disappointments had Wren at the end of the rope. He would not change and her friends support was the only thing helping her to get on with her life. Maddox was her rock, always had been and at some point, that had become something that changed all. An emotive story with a strong female character dealing with a difficult situation and struggling with her feelings. Liked the story pace that allowed me to immerse in the story and visualize how Wren was dealing with her emotions. Interesting, entertaining and with supportive secondary characters that kept a good flow of the story. The male protagonist intrigued me. What he was waiting for? Good and well written romance story.
I don't care for cliff hangers. But I make a special
allowance for this particular story. The sexual tension was over the top, the characters quirky and likable. I'm dying to find out what happens next. I'm pretty sure I'll still be enthralled when the next book comes out, though my usual MO is to drop "unfinished" stories like hot potatoes, forgetting about them as soon as I start a new book. This one was different for me and I'm know the story will still be with me until I have the next book comes out. Kudos, Bella!
I am blown away by this story. I don't know what made me get it but I am so very glad. It's life.....we lose someone and years later this pain still comes up hard every anniversary. Wren and her brother lost their parents 10 years before and were taken in by family friends. It resulted in a very close relationship between her and several males....she considers them her best friend/brothers. Her husband is a drunk who continues to get DUI's and then ruining her life until they divorce.
A relationship between her and her best friend causes all manner of trouble with everyone. Several don't want them together...it's a mess.
The feelings are raw at times and irresponsible behaviors result which creates more tension and drama.
I loved it because it's real life. We all know these feelings. We all know this pain. Brilliant dialogue with plenty of realistic characters.
Happen happen happen. When are we waiting for something to actually happen? 75% through something does happen and then it is a mere couple pages at best. So much for a love story...
